Hang Glider ID'd After Fatal Crash In South Central PA, State Police Say

The man who died in a hang glider crash on Monday afternoon, Oct. 28, has been identified by authorities on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

David Haughwout, 68, of Belleville was pronounced dead at the scene of the hang glider crash, according to Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown Trooper Yetter and the Mifflin County Coroner's Office.

The deadly crash happened in the 2700 block of Jacks Mountain Road in Menno Township around 3:58 p.m. Yetter detailed in the release. 

The death was accidental, according to Yetter's release but PSP continue to investigate.
